I am so behind on my bento posting! Anyway, this was last week’s bento that I made for C for her first day of school.
What better to start of the school season with some alphabets and numbers, right? Those alphabets and numbers are fruit leather. Under them are cheese sandwiches made with rainbow-colored bread. Other contents of this bento includes cheese stick flowers with cranberry center, blueberries, turkey rolls on picks and candy corn.
A little more about the bread – I bought this bread from a bakery in Richmond, BC. The first thing that attracted me to this bread was this label on the package.
I have been very curious about bread made using this “Tangzhong” method. The bread made using this method are suppose to be really soft and true enough, they were really super soft. This is definitely going on the top of my to-bake list.

Wow, I love the color of the rainbow bread.
Cute bento and I love the bread, I’m going to have to look for it.
This bento is really colourful, and the bread is just awesome.
I would like to learn how to bake this bread too
