Bento #38 - Colorful Flag Day

Got a little carried away with all the colorful flag picks today. :) Little sticks of carrot, cheese and edamame, cheese stars and chicken mozzarella ravioli in marinara sauce and yes, more blueberries! Lil’ C loves blueberries and since it is blueberry season, I let her indulge in as much blueberries as she likes before the season closes.

Beautiful flags! I wish my children would love blueberries but they don’t.

Thanks, Jo-N! Frankly, I am not a big fan of blueberries myself. They can be quite sour. So I was kinda surprised that my girl loves them. :)

Could I ask where you get your blueberries (as I recall, you mentioned you live in the Pac NW)? Blueberry season is long gone now in Oregon, so I haven’t seen them in abundance at the stores.

I got mine at Costco here. I think it was probably the last batch of the season. They still had some as of yesterday.

After seeing your blueberries overload, I bought blueberries for the kids too. They don’t like the blueberries. Luckly me cos it is so expensive!!!!

Hi, I looks good and very appealing! What is your recipe for the raviolis?

Hi, the raviolis are premade ones from Costco. Here’s what they look like: http://kookyculinary.com/2008/06/10/bento-18-meet-mr-crabby/
