Elmo Birthday Cake

C's Elmo Birthday Cake

 For toddler’s 2nd birthday . . . . . HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!

Updated: For this cake, I use the Elmo Cake Pan. For the marshmallow fondant, I used this recipe from Wilton. I love marshmallow fondant because they taste a lot better than regular fondant. But if you do not have time to make marshmallow fondant, you can buy ready-made fondant like these. As for his fur, you can use any buttercream and use this Wilton Piping Tip #233 to make it look like fur. Hope that helps.

This is so cute- I wonder if I can figure out how to make it. I’m taking a cake decorating class for FOUR weeks so hopefully I can figure it out in time for my daughters birthday.

Can you give me directions on how you did your Elmo cake? I love it and my daughter loves elmo. I have never made a cake though so I need lots of tips!! I saw on here that you said you used Marshmello foudant… Is that made by wilton? Where did you buy it? Is it easy to work with?

Heather, I have updated the details above. Hope it helps.
