Before Chinese New Year, I had a list of goodies that I wanted to make like Peanut Cookie, Nian Gao, Bak Kwa, Pineapple Tart and others. Then the snowstorm / ice storm / power outage hits and all plans were out the window. After the power came back on, I only managed to bake this super easy-peasy cookie – the melt-in-the-mouth German cookie.
I love easy recipes and this one only needs 5 ingredients. That’s my kind of recipe. Recipe is adapted from Happy Home Baking. The cookies turned out really good. It’s melt-in-the-mouth and buttery. The only thing I would change is to make it smaller so that it fits a mouthful.
