I have to admit that I was not a big fan of angel food cake. My preference is chiffon cake but after this cake, I might just be a angel food cake convert. When my friend S wanted to make the Angel Food Cake, I went to her place and helped her out since angel food cake is not on my own to-bake list. She used the Alton Brown’s Angel Food Cake recipe.
When I first saw the recipe, I was a little surprised at the number of eggs. It uses 12 eggs! That’s a lot of eggs but at least it only uses egg whites. Now what am I supposed to do with 12 egg yolks?? Anyway, the cake turned out really nice. Moist and fluffy. Lil’ C loved it so much that I think I will have to make one soon. Thanks S for making this cake.
