Spicy Hardboiled Egg Sambal

This is my shortcut hard-boiled egg sambal. A simple dish and yet goes so well eaten with rice. What’s my secret for this easy peasy dish? This!

Brahim’s Sambal Tumis!

To make this,

  • Hard-boiled some eggs, peel them and deep-fry them in a little oil. When the egg turns a little golden brown, remove from oil and set aside.
  • Fry some onion in a wok till fragrant.
  • Add in the Brahim’s Sambal Tumis and fry for a couple of minutes.
  • Add in the eggs and mix well.
  • Serve with rice.

    u can also fry them a lil longer until the skin turns into a layer of golden brown skin. To prevent the oil from *plip-plop*, try poke the egg surface with a fork:)

    Chinnee, thanks for the tip! I am very scared of the *plip-plop*,that’s why I don’t fry them for long. Will try your trick next time.

    Yeah, try it. I am not a big fan of their product but I like this one.
