Kuih Dadar (also known as Kuih Tayap) is one of my favorite tea-time snack. It is a pandan-flavored crepe stuffed with coconut filling. Thanks to a new-found friend S, I got to enjoy it recently. It has been so long since I ate this snack. It is actually not that difficult to make but it is time consuming to grate the fresh coconut. Luckily S was able to fin some frozen unsweetened dessicated coconut that’s a good substitute for the fresh coconut.
All packed up in a take-out box. Doesn’t it look store-bought?
