If I have to choose two activities that I would love to indulge in, it would be cooking and travelling. I love to cook, I love to travel and if I combine the two of them, it would make my day. That is why I was very excited when I found out about the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel’s Cooking School Weekend. Imagine being able to spend a weekend in beautiful Branson, not just to visit but also learn to create an awesome menu for this upcoming holiday season from the Hotel’s very own Chef. That definitely sounds like my kind of vacation.
To start off the weekend, guests will be treated to a Wine Tasting Reception and a cooking demonstration by the Hotel’s Chef Nathan Read. Then the next day, Chef Read will be teaching guests how to prepare appetizers that were served at the Wine Tasting. In the evening, guests will be treated to a lavish four-course meal complete with wine pairing. Guests will also be taught how to prepare the four-course meal the following day. I was checking out the menu and I was drooling! The menu includes Smoked Pork Loin, Wild Mushroom Risotto, Cheese Fondue, Charcuterie and Cheese, Dried Cherry Vanilla Demi Glace and more. Yum!! Don’t you agree? From all the menu items, I would be really interested in learning how to make risotto. Risotto has been on my to-make list for a long time but I have no idea how to make it the right way. So this will be a good opportunity for me to learn to make risotto.
This awesome experience takes place on October 16th and 17th . The entire vacation package which includes deluxe accommodation at Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel for two people for two nights costs only $398 plus tax. What a deal! Besides the cooking school, fall is actually one of the best times to visit Branson. The fall colors in the Ozarks are just breathtakingly gorgeous! When I go to Branson, I would not miss catching at least a couple of live shows and a visit to the fun Silver Dollar City.
Oh, I really hope that my husband does not have to work that weekend because I really want to go to this cooking school weekend.
