Mapo Tofu (Spicy Tofu with Pork)

I have to confess that I definitely prefer baking over cooking. Cooking is not my forte and I also cook by instinct, to the dismay of my friends. It used to and probably still drives my friends crazy when they try to get a recipe from me and all they get are “a little bit of this and a little bit of that”. 😛 For baking, I will follow recipes to a tee but when it comes to cooking, for some reason, the recipe goes out the window.

Anyway, this is one of those no-recipe dish that I cook pretty often. Just tofu, ground pork, black bean sauce, sambal olek (chili sauce), garlic and scallions.

    Hey, you cook like my dad! If you ask him how much to put in, he always says: “When you think it’s enough, then you stop”. I also love baking more, maybe because it’s more for fun and not for feeding your family. That recipe of yours sounds great!
