Win a trip to Kissimmee

It has been 2 years since we moved from Florida. Do I miss it? Not really except for one place and that is Kissimmee. We used to make weekend trips to Kissimmee once month to shop, eat and check out different attractions. Unfortunately those trips were taken during the pre-kid days. Poor Lil’ C was not there to enjoy those trips. That’s why I would love to bring her to Kissimmee sometime soon. I am sure that she would love to take an airboat ride to look for alligators and birds. We will probably check out our old stomping grounds – the outlet malls! They have quite a few outlet malls there. We will also check out the specialty stores at Old Town. They have some rides there that Lil’ C would love. I wonder if I will be brave enough to try out the Human Slingshot this time!!

As much as I love to bring Lil’ C to Kissimmee, I don’t think that we are able to do so financially right now. That’s why I was very excited to find out that I might be able to get this vacation for free. Kissimmee is giving away 3 weekend getaways for two and 2 weeklong vacations for four during the Kissimmee Freedom Sweepstakes. These drawings will be held on 4/1/09, 5/1/09 and 6/1/09. So wish me luck! Do you want to win a free vacation too? Then hurry and enter the sweepstakes too.

Hi there! I just stumbled on your website because of my new fascination with bentos! I have just started making them for my two little girls. I was reading this older post about Kissimmee and had a laugh. I live just next to Kissimmee in Hunter’s Creek. I can’t believe you actually miss it. I often fantasize moving away because it is so hot here. However, the great shopping does make up for the stifling heat. I must tell you I love your site and I have gotten so many ideas for making cute bentos. My girls often ask for “home lunch” instead of school lunches. Also, I can keep better track of what they eat because I see what comes home from school. They do tell me that their friends love their cute lunches and sometimes they share the fun!
Anyway, thanks again for the great site and ideas. You have inspired me!!

    Mary
