Do you love bacon? Well, I do especially for breakfast. Yum! Unfortunately since bacon is not the healthiest of food, I try to avoid eating too much in the recent years. However there are some days when some dishes just screams for a little sprinkle of bacon like baked potato, mashed potato and even salad. All I need is just a slice or two. So what do I do with the rest of the bacon?
I take each piece of bacon individually, roll it up and wrap it with clingwrap. Then keep all of them either in a ziploc bag or a container before throwing them into the freezer. This is so that when I need another slice the next week, I don’t have to defrost the entire bag of bacon again. It is easy for me just to take one or 2 each individual pieces and cook them. Of course, this freezing method is not practical if you are able to finish up your pack of bacon in a couple of days. 🙂
