Fly Doves Fly

Today’s lunch: Penne in marinara sauce, steamed broccoli, cheese doves and rice krispies bar.

You may notice that I use a lot of cheese, instead of nori for decoration. That’s because Lil’ C doesn’t like nori and also by using cheese, it just ensures that she gets her daily cheese intake. :)

    Love the cheese doves…I almost can’t bear to eat them…
    by the way, what age do you think kids will be ready for bento? :P

    Thanks, GT! I think you can start bento for the kids at any age. Just make the food age-appropriate. :)

    This is another nice set of bento. Thanks for your information on 100 yen shop. I bought some lunch boxes from there but I don’t see any molds or cute shaped containers. Maybe it’s very limited here.

    Glad u got the lunch box. Ya, I think bento is still quite new in M’sia. You might want to check out ebay for molds.
